A prime complaint of working in-house can be writers who don’t understand just how long it takes to do a proper job.

Sometimes, however, you just have to put your head down and do what you can in the time you have. In this course, Christa shares a procedure developed through working with and interviewing many senior members of international corporations to quickly identify and solve the major issues to rapidly improve important reports and other documents. How to get maximum results when you only have minimum time.

Christa has been an international science editor for 20 years. She has written three writing textbooks for scientific reporting consultants, and among other projects has contributed chapters to Editors Canada’s two most recent publications, Editing Canadian English and its companion volume, Editorial Niches. She has experience editing for educational and trade publishers, industry, government, and academia, with specialties in Science, Education, Engineering, and the Environment. From 2012 to 2014, she was the Senior Engineering Editor with Golder Associates, which gave her exposure to a variety of Canadian and international environmental projects. Christa also was responsible for developing international standardization and providing assistance around the globe and delivering Golder’s in-house technical writing course to consulting staff in 3 countries.
