Cheryl Stephens believes the varied fields of neuroscience explaining human processes for reading, thinking, and decision-making can help us in both editing and education. Since 2019, Cheryl has been speaking internationally about writing for the reader brain.

Recently, she has been explaining the reader’s brain functions in learning and retaining new information. Cheryl Stephens is an educator, trainer, and consultant. For over 30 years, she has been writing, speaking, and teaching about plain language, helping clients to become more successful communicators using plain language principles.
