The session will also suggest some methods for tracking and visualizing time and earnings that will help attendees to collect meaningful data to proactively develop their freelance business.

Cath’s academic background is in genetics research. Since leaving the lab in 2005 she’s worked in diverse life sciences research fields in both the academic and private sectors. Most of her time was spent in hybrid roles that combined research project management with writing and editing. She’s been freelancing as a writer and editor part-time since 2007, and full-time for just over a year.
