This session is for editors who would like to use autocorrects and text expanders to edit and query more efficiently. I’ll begin with a collection of best practices and tips for using Word’s AutoCorrect feature and then introduce two applications that enable the use of autocorrection outside of Word: TextExpander and AutoHotkey. I’ll discuss the pros and cons of each, review their features, and demonstrate a few ways you can use them to work more efficiently even outside of Word.
